Best for meReview by Rebecca D.
Rating I ordered this product after reading the positive reviews willing to give it a try. I am solely breastfeeding my newborn but needed to start pumping to prepare for returning back to work. I had the medela double electric pump but the suction was not strong enough for me to get more than a drop. Not sure if there was something wrong with it but on the first try with this manual pump I got 3 oz of milk. Yes my hand got a little tired the first couple of times but nothing horrible. It is not to time consuming 10-15 min per breast for me. I've been using it only at home but will take it to work with me when I return in 2 weeks to pump from work. Overall Great and I am so glad I ordered it!!!

Must Have!Review by Miami Momma
Rating This is a great pump to have. Works well, and is very comfortable. I'm not sure how good it is for someone trying to increase their supply, but if you just need a quick and simple pump, and don't want the expense and hassle of an electric one, this is just the thing! Only annoying part is the disassembly/clean-up is a little tedious. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Gets the job done!Review by Elle
Rating It works much better than other brands and so easy to use or to put together after cleaning. If you choose to pump manually, this is the one to buy.

Rating i am glad i did buy this one after reading the reviews.its great , easy to put it together ,i could easily collect upto 3 ounce within 15 mins. would like to let anyone know that breast milk pumping becomes easier once you cross 4 to 5 weeks when your breast milk supply is well established.

Great Pump!Review by 2 x Momma
Rating I sent my husband to the store to buy this pump the day after we brought our daughter home from the hospital. With my first child, I bought a nice, expensive electric pump. But my son never would breastfeed, so I tried pumping. I only pumped for a few days - I got tired of cleaning all the parts, and I wouldn't even get 1/2 oz when I pumped, so I gave up. When I had my daughter, I didn't buy any breastfeeding supplies until after her birth. Once I knew that she was willing to breastfeed (perfect at latching on, unlike her brother who refused to latch), I decided to get a manual pump. I needed something to relieve my engorement, and this did the trick. Well worth the money spent, and I'm using it once a day to build up a supply in the freezer for when I return to work. I love how easy it is to put together, use, and clean. It only takes a few minutes to do it all!

Comfort, Speed and EaseReview by M Bastille
Rating I read many reviews before purchasing this product. It was easy to find other brands in local stores, but I knew the brand Lansinoh as supplying top notch nursing products and was intrigued. Years ago I had tried other brands, like Evenflo, and they were ok. In the hospital I used a top-notch double electric pump. I prefer, however, the Lansinoh Manual Breast Pump to them all. I am not attached to a big contraption, like the big electric pumps--like a cow in a dairy. :-P It is not as noisy, and I got milk just as fast and as comfortably if not moreso. Yes, you have to pump one side at a time, but I hated pumping both sides at once anyway because it just felt so unnatural to me.
You can adjust the suction level simply by how far and hard you squeeze the lever. I was worried the lever would tire my hand, but they have it attached to a neat little contraption which makes it a breeze. NO HAND DISCOMFORT whatsoever. It EXTRACTED milk QUICKLY. It was QUIET. (I have read some reviews saying theirs squeaks from time to time; mine does not.) The funnel at the breast has a COMFORTABLE SOFT SHIELD. I found that I could adjust the suction level to suit my own comfort just by adjusting how hard and quickly I pulled the lever. Slow and part way was sufficient to produce a fast milk flow for me, and it was not difficult to do so.
Out of all the breast pumps I've used--two hospital ones, and two single pumps (one battery and one manual)--this is by far the best. I couldn't imagine a better pump. If you've got to pump, this is the way to go. Thank you, Lansinoh!
(By the way, I also highly recommend their nursing pads.)
