Question	:	I just found out I'm pregnant can I begin using the Avent Niplette? I'm only five weeks
Answer	:	In a matter of weeks of continued wear, the nipple will stay permanently erect. Ideally use before becoming pregnant. However, you can also use in the first six months of pregnancy to achieve permanent correction. Any nipple inversion which is not congenital but has occurred recently should be immediately checked by a doctor before the Niplette is used. Use is not recommemded in the last trimester of pregnancy.

Question	:	I am currently pumping only for my 3 month old. I gave up on the nipple shield since it was so frustrating to use. Can I use this product while I am pumping or should I wait until I'm not?
Answer	:	The Niplette should be worn continuously for 8 hours each day for 1 to 3 months. Since it must be worn for such a long stretch of time each day, it is not the ideal solution to use while pumping and/or breastfeeding.

Question	:	I have very small nipples and am currently using the niplette. The suction device sucks my whole aerola into the cap and my nipple remains inverted. Does this mean that the suction cap it so big for my nipples?
Answer	:	Used regularly, the nipple should fill the mould within approximately three weeks. Continue to use the Avent Niplette until the nipple does not retract. Use of the Niplette can then be reduced. Any initial tendency to retract is easily overcome by intermittent usage.

Question	:	I have inverted nipples, but whenthey DO come out , they are twice the normal size, will the holder fit bigger nipples or do u have different sizes????
Answer	:	The Philips Avent Niplette comes in one size. There is not a normal size; your nipples should be compressed in the Niplette.

Answer	:	You can use the Avent Niplette even though you are not pregnant or nursing. Results are permanent, this should be worn 8 hrs a day. You can wear this discreetly tucked in your bra during the day or at night. You should see results in 1-3 months depending on the degree of inversion.

My nipples are flat and I couldn't breastfeed my firstborn, I pumped and bottle fed for 12 months instead. The medela nipple shields didn't do anything to help either. We are now TTC our second child and I don't want to go through that again. I have only been using this product for a week or so but have already noticed improvement. I am hoping to correct the problem permanently in a few months. I gave this product a 4 star because it's hard to keep the nipplette on, it falls off with a bra or shirt over the top. I discovered that if I use lubricating jelly the attachment/suction is much better. I also discovered that if I wear the "medela breast shells for inverted nipples" over the nipplette, it stays in place much better. You can see that something is underneath my shirt though, so I only wear it at home. I will probably do another review if this product helps me to breast feed!

The instructions say that it could take up to 90 days for the Niplette to work... Mine came out after using it for a week!

First off: Be careful not to use these in your third trimester. They can induce labor!
They do work if you follow the instructions. The first day you may experience some tenderness but that will go away as you use them more often.
