I loved it from that start. After a while I didn't think it was strong enought, but after using a few other brands, and the hospital pump, I decided this is the closest pump to the hospital pump you can get. Dispite the other reviews in this pump here on the page. I strongly disagree for myself. I use it at work and even thought it is kinda loud, it's worth it! I guess I can handle more suction than others.

My manual pump is more comfortable	March 5, 2007

When I had my son I received this pump and a manual pump as gifts. I fiqured that this one would be the better pump since it was electric and could pump both breasts at the same time. It was a painful experience the first time I tried to use it. After the pain subsided I decided that it would be best to get used to the manual pump first. Using it first was a much better idea. After a few weeks I decided to give the Medela another try, but it was stilll as painful as the first time. I usually use my manual unless I am pressed for time and am willing to push through the pain.

I chose this pump based on recommendations from my breastfeeding friends. I would strongly suggest that you think twice and consider renting before buying a pump solely on reputation.

Although many people rave about this pump, it did not work well for me. Regardless of which setting I used it always seemed to pinch and tug at my breasts and I was never able to get more than an ounce or so of milk from either breast.
